"I Am Crystal" Employee of the Quarter Award

As part of our continued support of our employees, we have created the "I Am Crystal" award. "I Am Crystal" recognizes employees who embody the spirit of CEI. We will be selecting one employee each quarter for this award. The first quarter winner goes above and beyond the call of duty to provide exemplary service to the patrons at one of our facilities, he is an exceptional worker and never gives up what he's started, and for that, we are incredibly grateful. The first quarter winner is just one of many of our employees that help make CEI's name shine.

Second Quarter “I Am Crystal” Winner

Congratulations to our Employee of the Quarter, Aaron Parker. Aaron works at the Hurlburt Field Air Force Base. Aaron has contributed greatly to promoting his, CEI's and his co-worker's exemplary image at the site. We appreciate Aaron's hard work and value him as a member of our team.

First Quarter “I Am Crystal” Winner

CEI is proud to announce that Jose Moreno is the first quarter "I Am Crystal" winner. Jose is part of the Storeroom Personnel staff at one of CEI's foodservice contracts. He has worked at the facility since 1970, and continued to work there when CEI took over in 2013. Jose has never missed a day and has reported for work despite bad weather and other circumstances. He is extremely collaborative with his managers, he communicates with them daily and calls out important work-related issues concerning the status of food and beverages, overage, storage, special events and catering items. His dedication to safely managing inventory creates cost controls and waste reduction.
Jose excels at checking and receiving U.S. Foods Delivery twice, or sometimes three times, a week and he rarely asks for help, even when delivery exceeds up to 900 pieces or more. Jose exemplifies the work ethic CEI values, and is incredibly proficient in all the work he does. We thank Jose for his service to CEI and to the base where he works, Congratulations Jose!
